Spring is here and with it comes exercise season. It’s time to get those beach bodies in tip top shape. But what about all those exercise myths that hamper our progress?

Consumer Reports released a list of common myths about exercise that hold people back. Some of these are really good things to talk about. We will take a look at these myths, and give you the facts, in our facebook posts over the next few weeks.

MYTH: Your routine isn’t working if you’re not losing weight.

Exercise has limited impact on weight in the short-term, but that does not mean your routine isn’t working to improve your health – or even your attractiveness. If losing weight efficiently is important to you, cut calories (especially late night calories) in addition to an aerobic exercise routine.
