Home Health Earns Another Deficiency-Free Survey

June 29, 2017 in Our News & Bulletins by Integrity Rehab

Integrity Home Health has just achieved one of the highest designations of quality care and services—a  deficiency-free survey by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS).  This is their 4th consecutive deficiency-free survey by DADS, which is the licensing body for home health agencies.

The rigorous survey was conducted over 3 days to ensure that Integrity is meeting all requirements to maintain quality patient care. The visits are unannounced and a thorough review of quality, safety and performance issues is conducted as well as a review of clinical documentation, administrative and clinical procedures, patient medication management, and employee personnel files. In addition, surveyors interview patients and clinicians and carefully observe all operations throughout the agency.

“With changing and increasingly stringent regulations, achieving a deficiency-free survey is extremely difficult to accomplish,” said Tyna Allen, RN, Director of Nursing for Integrity Home Health. “The results demonstrate that we have dedicated and talented clinicians and support staff who are committed to our agency and the patients and families who rely on us for care.”

Integrity Home Health was established in 2005 to offer quality therapy as well as nursing to patients in their homes in Bell, Coryell, Lampasas and Williamson counties.  Integrity clinicians take the time to truly connect and care for our patients., and it shows through patients ratings of overall care at 92%.  Our Home Health therapists often also work in our outpatient clinics, allowing patients to having continuity with therapists.  As ordered by a doctor, visits can spread over weeks or months.
